“When you truly understand your body, you can finally feel at home in it.”
Have you ever left an appointment feeling unheard, misunderstood, and still searching for answers?
Hi, I’m Leigh-Anne — a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Root to Remedy Wellness.
For years in clinical practice, I kept seeing the same frustrating pattern: people struggling with real symptoms — fatigue, changes in weight, digestive issues, anxiety, brain fog, hormone concerns, or simply not feeling like themselves — without fully understanding what may be contributing to how they feel.
I knew there had to be a better way to look at the whole picture.
So, I created Root to Remedy Wellness — a space where you can feel heard, take a deeper look at your health, and work toward understanding why you feel the way you do.
Guided by functional medicine principles and grounded in evidence-informed care, I look at the connections between your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, nutrition, medications, labs, and other factors that may be contributing to how you feel.
When appropriate, this may include conventional and specialty laboratory testing to help investigate patterns, identify potential contributors, and guide a personalized plan.
But testing is only one piece of the picture. Nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, habits, and realistic lifestyle changes are woven into your care — because understanding what may be contributing to your symptoms is only useful if we can create a plan that works in your actual life.
Whether you’re struggling with hormones, energy, metabolic health, digestion, brain fog, or simply want to feel like yourself again, the goal isn't to chase symptoms one at a time.
It’s to connect the dots.
You deserve care that makes room for your whole story — and a plan that actually makes sense for your life.
